INVITATION
“The most precious inheritance that parents can give their children is their own happiness.” Thich Nhat Hanh
Parenting can be a 24x7 role. And yet, to take a pause and give attention to your own hearts and minds is a way of caring for yourself that can ripple out into how you show up as a parent. This turning inwards doesn’t have to be a solo endeavour and can be a connected, heartful experience with others in their parenting journeys.
That’s the intention of this listening circle. We invite you to a welcoming space to
🌸 support your own inner reflections in a non-judgmental atmosphere
🌸 listen to the authentic experiences of others and
🌸 tune in to both the shared vulnerabilities and wisdom of being in a parenting role in our times
PROCESS
This circle will be facilitated with processes drawing from contemplative traditions, such as mindfulness practices, guided visualisations, art/poetry based reflexive practices, as needed. And above all, inspired by the _heart_ of contemplative practices - compassion towards our human experiences.
