Workplace mindfulness and Presence at work is possible within and across teams of people. This means that mindfulness is a multi-level concept, always starting with awareness of oneself. Thus it is associated with benefits for individual employees as well as for the organisation as a whole, and it is brought forth through intrapersonal, interpersonal and collective practices and programs.

The Attuned Manager Program: Geared to equip leaders and managers with the nuances of deep listening and creating a capacity to be the first responders to their team members to support mental health concerns. What we find is that the program also helps to build empathetic and supportive teams that serve as the basis for creative collaboration and being able to respond to critical situations.
Mindfulness Breathers : Simple practices that have deep impact. These are short introductory one hour to 1.5 hour sessions that explore the practice of mindfulness, neuroscience and research and give an experiential taste of key concepts in mindfulness training.
The eight week program that gives a systematic entry into mindfulness practice. This consists of short practices as a group and with an experienced facilitator once a week for eight weeks with practice in-between sessions by internationally certified facilitators.
Our long term whole organization intervention involves three phased approach:
Phase 1 includes intrapersonal awareness.
Phase 2 involves interpersonal awareness with deep listening and authentic communication skills.
Phase 3 involves a collective inquiry for teams based on mindfulness as well as active steps in creating a mindful culture.
Mindfulness and Compassion meditation, explorations through use of art, clay, self-reflection, journaling, nature based explorations, drumming, discussions in dyads, triads and in the group, use of poetry, music and movement (as suitable to the group)
Rationale: The modalities used help to bring people in connection with a non-conceptual understanding of Mindfulness and to a sense of ‘beingness’ within themselves. From this space comes deep clarity, wisdom and a natural opening of the heart. The cognitive aspects, self-reflection and facilitated discussions then help to weave these insights and connect it with everyday life experiences and how these insights might be applied in daily living, personally and professionally.
The Just Being team of gifted facilitators trained in mindfulness, deep listening and counseling conduct these sessions. The programs are under the mentorship of Sandy Andrade, our founder and chief psychologist.
