We have two Mindfulness Retreats for Families in the year, one in summer and one in winter.
Mindfulness practice brings us in touch with an ever present awareness that has the potential for deep change and transformation. During the retreat, we practice Mindfulness in a variety of ways. Essentially, though, it is the practice of simply noticing and engaging with internal and external phenomena, moment to moment in a kind and open hearted way. We bring this practice in our relationship with ourselves and with others during these weekend family retreats.

The Mindfulness Retreat for Families is for the full family. We also have grandparents who join in for these retreats. Although open to children above six years and their families to teenagers, we also have younger and older siblings who join in.
It is a time to be as well as engage mindfully with ourselves and others. There are sessions that are held for the whole group and children, parents and teenagers separately. The sessions for children are designed to be age-appropriate and in line with the developmental needs of each stage and groups are made accordingly. There is also time and sessions planned for the family and the community that gathers.
Through song, music, movement, nature based activities, discussions, stories, art, and from one’s own inner wisdom and the collective wisdom of the group, we will move into deeply held spaces of silence and joy. The retreats are a time to reflect, share, connect and Just Be.
The retreats are held by a group of gifted facilitators who bring in mindfulness through various modalities.
