Support your own practice through the ‘Sangha’.
A practice circle is a peer-led circle where we come together to practice Mindfulness or Deep Listening or Focusing. Practice circles are not training or teaching sessions and are meant to simply support our own practice through the `sangha’. Practice circles are held online as well as in cities such as Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore and Delhi.
We are starting in-person Mindfulness Practice Circles in Mumbai 🧘♀🪷. The circles will be held on the first Sunday of every month, and the location may vary. We will collectively practice sitting mindfulness meditation and have space for sharing from the heart. You can invite others who wish to join in.
All of us need a trustworthy space where we can share what is on our minds without the fear of being judged by the other. When we feel truly heard, it allows us to form deeper connection with ourselves and gain clearer insight into our feelings and thoughts. A listening circle is a place to exploring our experiences in the presence of others around various themes, held by a trained facilitator. Here, there will be no advice given, no solutions offered, and no judgment passed. Instead, as a group, we will create a collective listening space where meaningful discussions can emerge and be held in confidence.

This reading circle will use select passages from Gabor Mate's insightful work ' the Myth of Normal' as a prompt to spark discussion around the societal lenses through which we perceive mental health and normality and what could be the way forward. All are welcome
These circles provide an opportunity to practice mindfulness, compassion, gratitude and deep listening in daily life. Without practice we can't deepen much into mindfulness and therefore our endeavour is to support circles that can bring in the joy of practicing as a ‘sangha’. These circles are offered by facilitators & alumni of Just Being and are free of charge.
The contemplative dialogue circles are explorations of pertinent socio-cultural-economic issues that affect us individually and collectively. It is a space to invite dialogue among people with seemingly different perspectives on the same issue. We listen and respond to each other from a space of silence and practice not taking sides and melting our 'fixed' notions of perceived 'reality'. Whenever relevant Online or in person Part time one year program
We have regular Focusing practice circles that run online and in-person for those who have been learning Eugene Gendlin's Focusing in India and interested in inner listening processes. Last Saturday every month 6 to 7.30 pm IST Online
We run a support circle based on the principles of deep listening for adoptive parents. Adoptive parents sometimes have no one to turn to to look at questions that come up while parenting an adoptive child. In the safety of the circle of other adoptive parents, this peer led circle engages in exploration of questions pertinent to the whole group. Every three months Online or in person (Pune)
